Jennie Levy was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She knew early on that she wanted to work with children but was not sure in what capacity. After having the opportunity to shadow Allison Feldman and Jennifer Rose her senior year of high school, Jennie immediately knew she wanted to follow in their footsteps.

Jennie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Texas at Austin and her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders from The University of Texas at Dallas. She is a licensed speech language pathologist and a member of The American Speech and Hearing Association.

Jennie is thrilled to be back at The Speech Garden after gaining experience in different clinical settings. She previously spent time as an outpatient speech pathologist at Texas Children’s Hospital-Medical Center and as a school-based speech pathologist in Houston Independent School District. She emphasizes a family-centered approach and enjoys working with early childhood and school aged children, specializing in diagnosing and treating speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, and social communication/pragmatic language disorders.

During her free time, Jennie enjoys watching movies, cooking, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family.
