    At the end of high school, Allison shadowed her younger brother’s deaf educators and Speech-Language Pathologist. What began as a search to confirm a field of study quickly turned into a calling. After witnessing firsthand the beautiful connection and power of the field through her family’s experiences, Allison knew she wanted to become a Speech-Language Pathologist.

    Allison is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and Nebraska native. She obtained her Bachelors in Communication Disorders from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and her Masters of Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

    Allison’s range of clinical experience includes the evaluation and treatment of articulation and phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language disorders, fluency disorders, and pragmatic language disorders. Prior to becoming a full-time private practitioner, Allison served students and their families in Millard Public Schools (Omaha, NE) and Houston Independent School District (Houston, TX). She enjoys working with toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. To Allison, it is an honor helping children become confident and colorful communicators.

    Allison and her husband have truly loved making Houston home. She enjoys cooking, exercising, traveling, reading, and spending time outside.
